From rod pulling in Romania to Expandit in Egypt, Perco’s international interests have continued to grow in recent months.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian engineers, UTIC Services now have an exclusive licence to use Expandit pipe bursting technology. Perco marketing director, Nick Sheehan visited KL for initial negotiations, which led to a visit to London in November by UTIC and a formalised licence agreement.
The exclusive licence allows UTIC to operate Expandit in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Burma and the Philippines.
Expandit has already been in action under Cairo’s busy streets, completing a number of sewer renovation projects. In Romania, where the technique is also proving popular, Perco has also carried out a renovation job using rod pulling equipment recently.
