The new tunnelling team is led by Alex Menhinick and specialises in microtunnelling, pipe jacking, segmental tunnelling and large diameter segmental shafts.
We are delighted to announce the expansion of Perco’s tunnelling activities. Whilst Perco is well known for its pipe installation and pipe rehabilitation services, the company is less well known for larger diameter tunnelling and shaft sinking projects. Microtunnelling and larger diameter pipe jacking, segmental tunnelling and large diameter shafts are set to become important parts of Perco’s services in the future.
Placing these services in a specialist team, under the leadership of Alex Menhinick, one of the industry’s best known tunnelling specialists, gives clients confidence that Perco has the knowledge and experience to deliver large scale projects on time and on budget.
Tunnelling activities will be focused on:
• Microtunnelling from 300mm diameter
• Large diameter pipe jacking
• Large diameter segmental tunnelling
• Large diameter shaft sinking
Since being acquired by Onsite Central, part of South Staffordshire PLC, in 2007 we have expanded the range of trenchless technology services offered and the size of projects undertaken. The expansion of our tunnelling operations is part of this programme.
