Trenchless technology from Perco has helped the Midlands-based contractors, Fitzgerald, reduce the environmental impact of groundworks for a new housing development near Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Working with main contractor Galliford Costain, Perco installed two 450mm diameter pumping main pipes in Northwich, Cheshire.
When Costain were building the new Porth Relief Road, they had to decommission an old culvert draining redundant mine workings at Porth in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales. Perco was asked to come up with an innovative solution for the problem
