PNEUMATIC

Developed in the 1970's, pneumatic pipe bursting is the original type of trenchless pipe replacement. It is very aggressive and is most suitable for pipe replacement under fields or in areas with no adjacent properties or services. It offers a number of benefits over other less powerful systems:

• Pipe diameters of up to 1200mm and in lengths of up to 500 metres
• Pipe upsizing of up to 50% can be achieved
• It can be used in conjunction with continuously welded or short sections of pipe
